With our collective expertise, our strong foundation in metal manufacturing techniques, and a relentless focus on quality and innovation, PrecisionX Group is committed to delivering superior products and services that meet the evolving needs of our customers.The Planning Coordinator will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing production schedules to ensure on-time delivery, efficient use of resources, and smooth coordination across departments. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving day-to-day operational challenges.Essential Functions:Create and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on demand, capacity, and material availabilityCoordinate closely with production, procurement, quality, and shipping teams to align schedules with business prioritiesMonitor work orders and adjust schedules in response to machine downtime, staffing changes, or material delaysTrack key production metrics (throughput, on-time completion, schedule adherence) and report on performanceIdentify bottlenecks and recommend process improvements to increase efficiencyMaintain accurate data in the ERP/MRP system related to scheduling, work orders, and inventoryCommunicate schedule changes clearly to relevant stakeholders and shift leadsSupport inventory and capacity planning as neededKey Responsibilities:Experience in production scheduling, planning, or a related manufacturing role (experience level flexible — we welcome candidates ranging from early-career to more seasoned planners)Knowledge and expertise in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (SAP, Oracle, Visual)Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple priorities at onceSolid analytical skills — comfortable working with spreadsheets and production dataClear communicator who can work cross-functionally with production floor staff and managementProblem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt quickly when plans changeNon-essential Responsibilities:Performs other duties as directed.Answering phonesGreeting guestsOrdering office and factory suppliesPosition Qualifications and Competency Statements:Regard for safety – Ability to follow safety rules and processes and keeps own safety and the safety of others in the forefront of every action.Integrity – Ability to demonstrate consistency between words and actions. The employee must be aware of potential hazards, including, but not limited to, working in close proximity to moving mechanical parts, operating vehicles, exposure to electrical current, high temperatures, and chemicals. It's important to maintain a high level of alertness and caution while performing tasks in this work environment.
