The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on PL/SQL development skills combined with deep functional expertise in regulatory reporting. This role requires the ability to perform solution design, development, data analysis, and data validation for regulatory reports such as FR 2052A, FR Y-15, etc.Responsibilities & QualificationsStrong knowledge of relational databases including Oracle, Sybase, and MS SQL ServerOracle Data Warehouse and Data Mart development using Oracle PL/SQL and UnixDeveloping PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and cursorsReleasing and packaging code into productionFull understanding of the SDLC lifecycleExpert-level experience developing and implementing technology solutions for regulatory reporting, with strong expertise in FR 2052AAbility to create and implement solution designs to meet business requirementsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and functional summarization skillsAbility to perform data validation of regulatory reportsSelf-sufficient and proactive in sourcing required informationAbility to work independently with excellent troubleshooting skillsStrong organizational and communication skills10+ years of experience as a Developer/Analyst in a Financial Institution working on regulatory reporting topicsMust have hands-on experience developing and analyzing PL/SQL codeMust have prior experience in the regulatory reporting domainMust have experience liaising with end users and technical teamsMust have experience in functional testing and data validationExperience with Axiom software is highly preferred
