Overview

The DAFS Datawarehouse team is looking for an individual to assist in meeting the timeline of the existing PRISM and OMS ReFRAME projects, while supporting agency users with the current production environments. Resource will provide continued support after projects go-live.

Responsibilities

• Prepares detailed design specifications for highly complex and large-scale systems to plan and facilitate system development and programming.
• Maintains assigned systems, responding to and resolving system problems to ensure systems are continuously available and function properly.
• Develop systems employing higher level languages such as 3GLs, 4GLs, enterprise class application development tools, system utilities, and project management tools to prepare systems for implementation.
• Diagnoses and isolates complex application software problems; formulates and implements effective solutions considering system capacity, limitations, time requirements, and desired results to resolve system problems and prevent reoccurrence.
• Design and develop subroutines in support of system development efforts to achieve maximum productivity.
• Perform difficult, complex, and specialized programming assignments to ensure users and business needs are met.
• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining momentum on current work and ensuring timely delivery.
• Provide a customer-focused approach when working with other teams and business contacts.
• Operate in a shared team development environment, performing tasks across all aspects of the SDLC.
• Complete work in an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) environment.
• Apply Data Warehouse design and development principles with knowledge of Kimball methodology, star schema, and related concepts.
• Conduct software testing and perform data/business analysis to gather requirements and create technical documents.
