Seeking a part-time, project-based PKI Architect, the candidate will focus on developing and implementing a comprehensive PKI strategy, managing certificate lifecycles, and collaborating with security teams to enhance digital security in a fully remote environment. Key responsibilities Develop and implement a holistic PKI strategy aligned with organizational security objectives Manage certificate authorities and oversee the issuance, renewal, and revocation of certificates Conduct security assessments and maintain documentation for PKI configurations and policies Required qualifications Demonstrable expertise in cryptography, certificate management, and networking protocols Hands-on experience with PKI technologies and standards such as X.509 and OCSP Strong scripting skills, preferably in Python or Shell, for automation Knowledge of IT and Cybersecurity frameworks, such as NIST and ISO 27001/2 Certifications such as CISSP or CISM are a plus
