Seeking a remote, part-time PKI Architect, the consultant will manage the development and implementation of a comprehensive PKI strategy, oversee certificate management processes, and conduct security assessments to enhance organizational security. Key responsibilities Develop and implement a holistic PKI strategy aligned with security objectives and manage the deployment of scalable PKI infrastructure Oversee certificate lifecycle management, including issuance, renewal, and revocation, while ensuring compliance with best practices Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PKI elements securely and maintain comprehensive technical documentation Required qualifications Demonstrable expertise in cryptography, certificate management, and networking protocols Hands-on experience with PKI technologies and standards such as X.509, OCSP, and CRL Strong scripting skills, preferably in Python or Shell, for automation purposes Knowledge of IT and Cybersecurity frameworks, including NIST, FIPS, and ISO 27001/2 Certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) are preferred
