Pacesetter Personnel Services is actively seeking experienced pipelayers for a few projects:
The pipelayer is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing pipelines used for water, sewer, gas, or other utility systems. This role involves excavation, aligning pipes, sealing joints, and ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards. The pipelayer works closely with other construction professionals to complete projects efficiently and on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Excavate trenches and prepare pipe beds according to specifications
- Align and lay pipes ensuring proper slopes and alignment
- Seal joints and connect pipes using appropriate materials and techniques
- Inspect installed pipelines for leaks and defects
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to construction codes
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate work and report progress
- Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions
