Exp w/layout, fabrication, installation, maintenance & repair of piping systems, structural steel, vessels, pumps & equip. in industry environment.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesLayout, fit, and fabricate metal components to assemble structural formsAssist pipe fitter with installation of the piping system to include boilers, chillers, air-handler units, cooling towers etc.Use hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products.QualificationsAt least three years Pipefitter in Industrial Construction settingMust have valid Driver's LicenseMust be able to read and interpret mechanical drawingsMust be able to utilize electronic devices for daily communicationPhysical DemandsMay be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 poundsMust possess enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified aboveMust be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areasMust have full range of motion consistent with ageMust be able to climb and maintain balance laddersMust be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noisesVisual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfacesSafety/Steel toe shoes are required.Equal Opportunity EmployerAs a leading provider of mechanical and electrical construction, facilities services, and energy infrastructure, we offer employees a competitive salary and benefits package and we are always looking for individuals with the talent and skills required to contribute to our continued growth and success.
