CCS Construction Staffing is seeking experienced Pipe Welders for a long-term project in Troy, NC , starting March 2026 . This role is ideal for skilled tradesmen with commercial, industrial, or shipyard welding experience who value precision, quality, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and copper-nickel piping systems using MMA (Stick), TIG, CW (Cold Wire), and flux-core processes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, ISO drawings, and weld symbols.
- Prepare, align, and tack pipe for welding; ensure welds meet high-quality standards under inspection.
- Work in confined spaces, elevated areas, and various site conditions while following all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with pipefitters, foremen, and project supervisors to maintain schedule and quality standards.
- Minimum 3 years of pipe welding experience in commercial, industrial, or shipyard settings.
- Proficient in multiple welding processes (Stick, TIG, CW, flux-core).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols.
- Strong focus on safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.; must pass drug screen and background check.
