Job Description
Pipe Welder $2,240+ WEEKLY Join Savard Personnel Group - where your skills are valued! Key Requirements: Minimum 5 years of hands-on pipe welding experience. Shipyard/marine or heavy industrial welding experience preferred. 5 years of shipyard experience is a plus. Must have Flux-Core (FCAW) experience welding carbon steel pipe. Must have TIG/GTAW experience welding stainless steel pipe. Experience with GTAW/TIG, SMAW/Stick, and FCAW welding processes. Must be able to read and interpret isometrics, blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding symbols. Must understand proper joint preparation and pipe fit-up/alignment. Must be able to clean and prepare weld joints and remove slag/spatter using grinders and chipping hammers. Must be capable of producing precision, quality welds on piping systems. Must be able to pass required hands-on pipe welding test. Shifts: Monday to Friday 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM Overtime offered! Duration: Temp to perm
