You take pride in welds that stand up to inspection and time. In this role, you'll apply your craft to pressure pipe from 1/2" through 24", schedules 10-160, across carbon steel, stainless steel, and exotic metals. You'll switch seamlessly between GTAW and SMAW, interpret ISOs and P&IDs, and deliver x ray quality results in flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions.
Your Impact- Execute code quality welds in both shop and field environments with an all positions (6G) capability.
- Translate welding symbols into action and match processes to system specifications.
- Contribute beyond the bead: install piping, supports, valves, and associated components; test completed systems to plan and spec.
- Own the fit up: clamp, hold, tack, grind, and bolt parts to perfect alignment.
- Own your work: stamp, paint, or label welds with correct welder identification.
- Safety is non negotiable-consistent PPE use (safety glasses, face masks, gloves, work boots, harnesses, and required site gear) and adherence to all rules.
- Collaborate clearly with coworkers, supervisors, and clients.
- Travel ready and open to overtime when project timelines demand it.
- Pipe threaders, burning torches, grinders, porta band saws, chain falls, and common hand tools.
- Mobile equipment, including fork trucks and high reach lifts.
- High school diploma or GED.
- 3-7 years of hands on pipe welding experience.
- Physical capacity to lift up to 50 lbs, perform repetitive motions, and execute fine tool control per established procedures.
- Possess valid identification to work in United States.
- Must have ability to pass a drug screening and criminal background check.
