Key Responsibilities:
- Pick customer orders accurately based on picking lists or electronic scanners.
- Pack orders safely and securely using appropriate packaging materials.
- Label packages correctly and ensure proper documentation accompanies each shipment.
- Inspect items for damage or defects and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and warehouse.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment when required.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Follow all safety and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous warehouse or packing experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to lift up to (30-50 lbs) and stand for extended periods
- Basic math and reading skills
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Fast-paced warehouse environment
- May involve standing, walking, lifting, and repetitive movements
- Temperature variations depending on warehouse conditions
