Physicist

POSITION SUMMARY

To perform a wide variety of duties including but not limited to clinical physics support, computer treatment planning, QA-chart and calculation checks, machine calibrations, brachytherapy treatment planning and source management, and dosimetry.

*External offers made for this position are eligible to receive a $20,000 Sign-On Bonus.*

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education:

• 1)Master’s Degree in a Physical Science or Engineering

Experience:

• 1)Three to five years’ experience in a hospital based or free standing Radiation Oncology Center.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• 1)Must have ability to work cooperatively with other personnel in the department and the Medical Center.

License/Certification/Registration:

• 1)Certification in Therapeutic Radiological Physics through either the American Board of Medical Physics or the American Board of Radiology.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED

Receives minimal supervision from the Administrative Director, Radiation Oncology.
