We are seeking a skilled Medical Physicist- Radiation Oncology, to join our healthcare team. The Medical Physicist will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective delivery of radiation therapy treatments and medical imaging procedures.

Duties:

  • Perform quality assurance tests on radiation therapy equipment
  • Develop treatment plans for patients undergoing radiation therapy
  • Provide expertise in the safe use of radiation in medical procedures
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care
  • Conduct research to improve treatment techniques and equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of treatment plans and patient dosages

Requirements:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Medical Physics or related field
  • Certification by the American Board of Radiology or American Board of Medical Physics
  • Proficiency in CT, Mammography, and medical imaging technologies
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
  • Experience in acute care, critical care, and radiation therapy settings
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Familiarity with advanced medical imaging techniques
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies in radiation therapy
  • Experience with dosimetry systems and treatment planning software
