Responsibilities
* Review and approve complex radiation treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and dosimetrists, ensuring dose accuracy and patient safety.
* Conduct patient-specific quality assurance checks for IMRT, VMAT, SBRT, SRS, and brachytherapy cases.
* Assist with commissioning, acceptance testing, and implementation of new equipment, software, and treatment techniques.
* Serve as a technical resource for radiation safety, shielding evaluations, and exposure monitoring.
Minimum Requirements
* Master's in medical physics, physics, or related field, Board certification by ABR in Therapeutic Medical Physics, and 2 years of experience.
* Board certified or board eligible by the ABR in Therapeutic Medical Physics, required. Knowledge typically obtained with 2 or more years of clinical experience.
* Demonstrated proficiency with radiation therapy equipment and software.
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced clinical environment.
