Physician - Wound Care Specialist

Wound Care Specialist – J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital

The West Virginia University School of Medicine and the WVU Heart & Vascular Institute are actively recruiting a Wound Care Specialist at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient wound services, including wound consults and clinic treatment.
• Participate in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania; travel expected.
• No call requirements. Work hours Monday through Friday.
• Second physician provider, supported by an APP team.

Qualifications

Candidate must hold an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for a state medical license. Must have completed an internal medicine or family medicine residency program and be board certified or eligible. All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Work Hours & Compensation

Scheduled weekly hours: 40. Shift: Exempt. Location: 1 Medical Center Drive, Morgantown, WV.
