Physician - Urology

Job Description:

Responsibilities

• - Deliver comprehensive urologic care to adult patients across both outpatient settings and hospital/surgical environments.
• - Engage in a high-volume clinical practice that addresses immediate patient demands.
• - Conduct diagnoses and perform surgical interventions for various urologic conditions.
• - Collaborate closely within a multidisciplinary team of four established Urologists alongside a community partner.
• - Participate in hospital call rotation to manage inpatient consultations and emergencies.
• - Utilize advanced technological resources, including two DaVinci XI robotic surgical systems, with an upcoming robotics expansion and Aquablation slated for 2026.
• - Work alongside a well-equipped and efficient clinical support team.
• - Document patient care and treatment plans using the Epic electronic medical record (EMR) system.
• - Contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care while actively engaging with colleagues and leadership to influence the future trajectory of urology services.

Shift Description:

• - Day shift with typical clinical/surgical hours, approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Qualifications:

• - Board Eligible (within five years of completing residency) or Board Certified in Urology -
• - Active Colorado Medical License (or willingness to obtain) -
• - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
• - (REQUIRED).
• - Recent National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) Self Query Report (within 30 days of application) - (REQUIRED) (no exemptions, mandatory at presentation).
• - Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration (must be secured prior to commencement)
• - (REQUIRED).
