Physician - Urologist

Urologist Position

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Urologist for a temporary assignment in Longview, Washington. These positions are 26-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.

Job Title: Urologist

Location: Longview, Washington

Schedule: 8:00AM - 5:00PM x 5

Term: 26-week assignment with the potential for extension. Pay Rate: $278 - $299/hr

Responsibilities for a Urologist:

• Washington state license must be in hand at time of presentation; IMLC candidates must have letter of qualification (LOQ) in hand

• MD/DO license type required

• Perform yearly refills

• Diagnose and treat erectile dysfunction

• Diagnose and treat kidney stones

• Manage male incontinence

• Perform cystoscopies

• Provide surgical assist services

• Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings

• Cover 7 days of unrestricted call per month with a 10-minute return call response time and a 30-45 minute radius

• See an average of 18 patients per day

• Perform standard urology procedures in the clinic and operating room, including: catheter placement, stent placement, cystoscopy, TURP, ureteroscopy, prostate biopsy, circumcision, shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL), orchiopexy, TURBT, hydrocelectomy, spermatocelectomy, PVP, and litholapaxy

• Provide documentation (case list) of 100 surgical procedures performed within the previous 24 months, including diagnosis or procedure, date, and facility

• Maintain both hospital and clinic privileges

• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation

• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications (from American Heart Association or American Red Cross)

• Have a minimum of 2 years of experience

• Da Vinci experience is a plus but not required

• COVID-19 vaccine required with no exemptions

• Care for patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
