Overview
Cooper University Health Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Family Practice Physician to join our Cooper Care Alliance team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals and families across all ages, focusing on prevention, wellness, and the management of chronic and acute conditions in an outpatient setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based primary care to a diverse patient population.
- Conduct physical exams, diagnose and treat illnesses, and order and interpret diagnostic tests.
- Develop and manage treatment plans, including prescribing medications and coordinating referrals.
- Promote preventive care and health education to patients and families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including nurses, medical assistants, behavioral health, and specialists.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical meetings.
- Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
Interest in population health, quality improvement, or teaching.
