Physician Senior Primary Care

About this role: As a Physician in Senior Primary Care within our Intermountain Health Medical Group - Pahrump Clinic, you will join a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and an excellent patient experience. In this role you will see approximately 16 patients per day for annual wellness checks, identification and treatment of chronic conditions, diagnostic testing, laboratory services and immunizations.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care services to patients in the clinic setting, including annual wellness checks and management of chronic conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing and laboratory services; administer immunizations as appropriate.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and enhance the patient experience.

Benefits and Compensation

• Hero Stipend of $25,000.00 per year
• Starting Bonus of $60,000.00
• Relocation assistance up to $20,000.00 for eligible moves
• Quality Incentives starting at $30,000.00 per year
• Weekly schedule options: 4 additional 10-hour shifts or 5 eight-hour shifts
• No nights, weekends, or hospital call required

Requirements

• Experience preferred; new grads will be considered
• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical or osteopathic school
• Residency training in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics
• Board certification or eligibility in the designated discipline
• Active, unobstructed Nevada medical license, or ability to obtain one
• Active DEA license, or ability to obtain one
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process

Preferred

• Experience in managed care and/or geriatric care
• Fluency in Medical Spanish (preferred, not required)

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience: $7.25 - $999.99
