Physician (Radiology‑Diagnostic) – Defense Health Agency
Location: WOMACK Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, NC
Overview
This position is located at WOMACK Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, NC. It is a Direct Hire Authority solicitation using DHA for certain DoD personnel to recruit and appoint qualified candidates for competitive service roles.
Responsibilities
- Provide expertise in advanced general diagnostic radiology procedures, including MRI, CT, Mammography, MRA, Nuclear Medicine, and Ultrasound.
- Obtain history for general radiographic diagnoses, review indicated laboratory test results, and assess the severity of illness.
- Oversee radiographic examinations, ensuring correct procedures are conducted and relating findings to patient symptoms.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, or equivalent from a U.S. or Canadian accredited school. Foreign MD must meet equivalency requirements.
- Licensure: Current, active, full, unrestricted medical license from a U.S. state, D.C., Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory.
- Graduate Training: At least one year of supervised clinical experience (internship or first year of residency).
- Residency Training for GP‑14 Position: Completed accredited residency in Radiology‑Diagnostic with equivalent training of at least 4 years; experience cannot replace required residency.

Compensation
Salary determined by tier scale (Tier 2: $145,000–$320,000). Salary quote provided after the initial offer is accepted.
