Description:Providers presented must have availability October 23-25 and December 28-January 1.Shifts will begin at 7 AM Friday mornings and end at 7 AM Monday mornings.We have an open ICU model.Over 95% of patients are admitted to hospital medicine.The hospital has a total of 162 beds, including 30 ICU beds and 24 step-down beds.On average, there are about 18 consults per day, combined pulmonary and critical care.The emergency department has a census of about 170 patients.Patients needing ICU level care are admitted to one campus.There is an average admit rate of 28-30%.There are no advanced practice providers on staff.Providers. must obtain temporary privileges.Requirements include a clean background.Critical care providers are preferred for lines and intubations on admitted patients during daytime hours.We have 24/7 coverage from various surgical specialties and anesthesiology.Clientists are in-house 24/7 with at least double coverage in the emergency department.This is a high-acuity site with plenty of coverage from well-established services.Patient encounters will vary per shift.Candidates must meet minimum certification requirements.
