Duties
Develop treatment and rehabilitation plans and provides appropriate therapeutic treatment services.
Serve as a recognized technical authority in the delivery of psychiatric medical care to a wide demographic and large variety of psychiatric patient presentations, symptoms, conditions, and complexities.
Identify patient treatment needs and arrange for a safe therapeutic outcome.
Provide timely communication to patient's Command on mental health issues where disclosure is required per Department of Defense Instructions.
Participate in hospital approved mental health training programs.
Make recommendations on improvement of work methods and organizational features and assists in establishing policies and guidelines related to mental health care.
