Duties
Provide treatment services such as inpatient and outpatient services, partial hospitalization, and emergency psychiatric service.
Develop treatment and rehabilitation plans and provide appropriate therapeutic treatment services.
Determine and provide mental health assessments of fitness and suitability for duty.
Monitor treatment effectiveness through evidence-based medicine.
Conduct biopsychosocial evaluations of patients.
Prescribe pharmacological and psychotherapeutic treatment.
Provide referrals to other medical and mental health care providers.
Provide professional consultation, supervision, and collaborative medical support to other staff.
Participate in Quality Assurance (QA) functions, performance improvement, risk management, and peer review programs.
