Physician - Primary Care - Per Diem

Overview

Lincoln Hospital, a 25-bed critical access hospital and proud member of MaineHealth, is seeking a per diem primary care physician to join our experienced and collaborative team. This opportunity is based at our Primary Care Clinic in Waldoboro, with the opportunity to float to other sites as needed. Opening in March 2026, this new, state-of-the-art clinic will offer modern exam rooms, on-site lab services, and a welcoming, fully accessible environment.

In this per diem role, you will provide high-quality, compassionate primary care to individuals and families while supporting the primary care team as needed. You will collaborate with experienced healthcare professionals in a well-supported clinical environment, contributing to continuity of care and positive patient outcomes while maintaining a schedule that fits your availability.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency or fellowship program in the relevant specialty, or equivalent.
• Eligible for licensure in the State of Maine.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
• Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing and privileges at designated hospital locations.

Practice Details

Location: Primary Care Clinic, Waldoboro, Maine, with the opportunity to float to other MaineHealth sites as needed.
