  • POSITION SUMMARY
    • Position Summary:
      • Responsible for the direct and indirect care of patients. Plans, organizes, and directs the specialty service under their charge. Effectively communicates pertinent information to provide optimum patient care. Assists the director in assuming responsibility for administrative management of a specific area. Assists in development and monitoring performance improvement issues for specialty area. Works to assure competent staff are able to meet the needs of the patient population on the specialty team.
  • POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
    • Minimum Education
      • Associate's or Diploma degree from an accredited school of nursing
      • Bachelor in Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
    • Minimum Experience
      • Two years experience in a specialty area preferred
    • Required Registration/License/Certification
      • Current Kansas registered nurse license
      • Current BLS certification (Basic Cardiac Life Support (American Red Cross-CPR for the Professional Rescuer) or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) certification
