Sutter Medical Group (SMG) seeks to hire a BE/BC Pediatric Endocrinologist to join our dynamic team in Sacramento, CA. Sutter Pediatric Endocrinology & Diabetes is a comprehensive, clinical and research‑minded, rapidly evolving subspecialty program embedded within one of California’s most respected integrated health systems. We provide state‑of‑the‑art clinical care, robust diabetes and weight management services, and a growing pediatric endocrine research portfolio, all supported by strong operational infrastructure.

We have over 25,000 patients, 1,500 with diabetes, 8 active clinical trials, and won the prestigious Innovation Challenge for Diabetes Care Innovation. (

Team Composition

• 5 Pediatric Endocrinologists
• 4 Advanced Practice Providers (NPs/PAs) fully integrated into care delivery
• 1 Dedicated Research Coordinator
• 1 Dedicated Area Manager and Research Manager
• Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialists (CDCES)
• Registered Dietitians
• Embedded care coordination and population health support – weight management program

Qualifications

• Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology
• Clinically excellent and team‑oriented
• Interested in diabetes care, endocrine complexity, or program development
• Curious, innovative, and aligned with a culture of continuous improvement
