Job Overview

West Virginia University Health System (WVUHS) is the state’s largest health system and private employer, providing comprehensive medical care across 18 hospitals and multiple institutes. Our Berkeley Medical Center in Martinsburg offers a full spectrum of obstetrics and gynecology services, including a 195‑bed acute care facility, a Level III NICU, and multiple operating rooms.

Position

OBGYN Hospitalist

Primary location: Martinsburg, WV

Duties

• Provide inpatient obstetrics and gynecology care as a hospitalist, managing deliveries, related services, and acute patient needs at the primary location.

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or foreign equivalent with eligibility for a West Virginia medical license.
• Completion of an accredited OBGYN residency program.
• Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics/Gynecology.
• All qualifications must be satisfied at the time of appointment.

Employer Information

WVUHS includes five institutes and provides management services for other local hospitals through affiliate agreements. It is comprised of more than 20 hospitals, including a children’s hospital and a 700‑bed academic medical center in Morgantown.
