Complex Family Planning Section Chief
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center invites applications for the Complex Family Planning Section Chief. This leadership role involves directing the Complex Family Planning program, expanding clinical services, and advancing research and teaching in reproductive health.
Responsibilities
- Direct the Complex Family Planning program and expand its clinical and research initiatives.
- Supervise resident family planning rotations, including early pregnancy management clinic, contraception clinic, and operative experience at an ambulatory surgical facility.
- Engage in faculty practice, participate in the gynecology teaching service, and mentor medical students.
- Collaborate with the College of Public Health and the Department’s reproductive epidemiologist on research opportunities.
Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. degree.
- Successful completion of an accredited residency training program.
- Ability to be licensed to practice medicine from the State of Ohio Medical Board.
- Current registration with the DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration).
- Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Board‑certified or eligible physicians with fellowship training in complex family planning or equivalent experience.
