Physician OBGyn Complex Family Planning Specialist (Open Rank/Track Faculty)

Position Overview

The General Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology seeks a Complex Family Planning specialist for a full‑time position. This role will enhance the department’s expertise in complex family planning and will involve direct patient care, resident education, research, and teaching within a faculty practice.

Provision of obstetric care is optional.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for complex family planning cases.
• Supervise resident continuity clinics and a dedicated resident family planning rotation.
• Serve on the gynecology teaching service.
• Provide in‑hospital gynecologic consultation.
• Mentor medical students and faculty in family planning.

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree.
• Successful completion of an accredited residency training program.
• Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and fellowship training in complex family planning or equivalent experience.
• Ability to obtain a medical license in the State of Ohio; current DEA registration.
