Position Overview
The General Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology seeks a Complex Family Planning specialist for a full‑time position. This role will enhance the department’s expertise in complex family planning and will involve direct patient care, resident education, research, and teaching within a faculty practice.
Provision of obstetric care is optional.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for complex family planning cases.
- Supervise resident continuity clinics and a dedicated resident family planning rotation.
- Serve on the gynecology teaching service.
- Provide in‑hospital gynecologic consultation.
- Mentor medical students and faculty in family planning.
Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. degree.
- Successful completion of an accredited residency training program.
- Board certification or eligibility by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and fellowship training in complex family planning or equivalent experience.
- Ability to obtain a medical license in the State of Ohio; current DEA registration.
