• Hospital equipment for labor and delivery
• Few C-sections (surgery to deliver a baby)

• They take call and deliver their own patients

Required Tasks

• Normal delivery (vaginal), and using low forceps if needed
• Deciding when to do a C-section
• Complicated deliveries, like C-sections, breech births, multiple births, abruptions, etc.
• VBAC ( vaginal birth after a C-section)
• Repairing severe tears (3rd and 4th degree lacerations)

Qualifications Needed

• Must be Board Certified
• Must have an active Kentucky License
• Must be BLS Certified
• Must have an active DEA
