Physician - OB/GYN

Our client in New Hampshire is seeking an Obstetrician/Gynecologist for a 6-day assignment. This role involves comprehensive 24/7 on-call coverage, encompassing outpatient and inpatient care, ED consultations, surgical procedures, labor management, and routine inpatient rounds. The schedule primarily includes continuous on-call duties with some dedicated clinic time.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 24/7 on-call coverage for outpatient needs, emergency department consultations, and inpatient obstetrics and gynecology.
• Conduct clinic hours at the AVH OB/GYN office and CCFHS Prenatal Clinic, typically 1-2 times per week.
• Perform surgical procedures, serving as primary surgeon or assistant.
• Manage labor and delivery cases.
• Conduct inpatient rounds and care for OB/GYN patients.
• Oversee scheduled C-sections, ideally planned outside of morning clinic hours.
• Address a patient caseload in clinic settings consisting of approximately 90% prenatal and 10% GYN cases.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
• EMR system utilized: Dragon.
• Setting includes both inpatient and outpatient care, covering clinic, hospital, and emergency department environments.
• Call schedule involves 24/7 on-call duties during the assignment.
• Patient volume includes approximately 80 annual deliveries at AVH and clinic hours of 1-3 hours per session, 1-2 times weekly.
