Physician -OB/GYN

Job Description

We are looking for an OB/GYN doctor to work with our Family Medicine and OB team.

Work Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Shared on-call duties

Responsibilities

• Work in the clinic and the operating room
• Be on call for OB patients
• Work weekends about once every four weeks
• Take care of patients in the hospital and clinic
• Travel to different locations and clinics

• Trauma Level: Level 4
• Medical Records System: Cerner for Inpatients, eClinicalWorks for Outpatients

Patients

• The number of patients you see each day can vary
• We prefer doctors who can start as soon as possible

Qualifications

• Must be Board Eligible (within 3 years of finishing training) or Board Certified in OB/GYN
• Must have an Iowa medical license or be willing to get one
• Must have NRP and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certifications or be willing to get them before starting
• Clean malpractice record is preferred (No ongoing or supervised cases)
• Preference for candidates who can start right away
