Job Description: Neurologist
Responsibilities
- Patient Care : You will take care of patients with neurological problems. There are no responsibilities for outpatient or clinic work.
- Work Schedule : You can choose a flexible work schedule: either 7 days on and 7 days off, or 14 days on and 14 days off.
- Conditions You Will Manage : You will work with patients who have various neurological conditions, such as:
- Stroke
- Epilepsy
- Back pain
- Brain tumors
- Dementia
- Nerve problems (Neuropathies)
- Movement disorders
- Teamwork : You will work closely with a team of neurologists, both general and specialists, to ensure patients receive complete care.
- Stroke Center : You will work in a hospital that is recognized as a Primary Stroke Center.
- Collaboration : You will be part of a team of doctors that focuses on high-quality and compassionate care.
- Support Staff : You will have hospital support staff, including teams for neurodiagnostic services and specialists who can help with difficult cases.
Qualifications
- You must be Board Certified in Neurology (this is required).
- A clean history of malpractice and licenses is highly preferred.
- You must have a New York medical license or be willing to get one (this is required).
- You need a DEA license or be willing to obtain one (this is required).
Certification Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
License Requirements
- Must have a license to practice in New York.
- Excellent clinical and communication skills are needed.
