Physician - Medical Oncology

Sanford Aberdeen Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematology/Oncology physician to join their team in Aberdeen, South Dakota. This role features an outpatient practice with hospital consults, a 1:3 call rotation, and the support of an experienced APP and dedicated support staff. • Support of an experienced APP and dedicated support staff, including a nurse navigator
• Hospitalist coverage on the in-patient unit
• Ancillary services include anesthesia, inpatient and outpatient surgery with a cardiac cath lab, diagnostic testing (echo, vascular, stress, ultrasound), respiratory therapy, lab, and outpatient infusion center
• Multi-specialty group includes anesthesia, emergency medicine, family medicine, general surgery, internal medicine, cardiology, radiology, OB/GYN, orthopedic surgery, pediatrics, podiatry, urology, and ENT
• 48-bed medical center with an attached clinic featuring 12 specialties and additional outreach services
• Large referral area drawing from the entire northeastern area of the state

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient practice care with hospital consults
• Participate in weekly cancer committee and weekly tumor board
