Location: Flint, Michigan
Type: Contract / Professional Services
Schedule: Up to 2 hours onsite per week + 24/7 phone on-call coverage
Candidate must have:
Current Michigan Physician License
Medical school + residency completed
Board certification information
Experience working in medical facilities
Experience with adolescent residential/juvenile facilities
At least 5 years of qualifying Physician Services experience, preferably in correctional or institutional healthcare
Ability to provide 24/7 telephone on-call coverage
Main duties:
Medical examinations for juveniles within 7 days of admission
Routine medical treatment
Emergency consultations
Annual physicals
Hospital-care oversight
Medical-record review
Documentation and reporting
Provide testimony if subpoenaed
