Family/Internal Medicine MD OpportunityAn established integrated health organization is seeking a full time experienced BC/BE family/internal medicine MD with hospital and emergency room experience. This candidate will work in our family/urgent care clinic with multiple locations in the DFW area.This chosen candidate will be energetic, motivated and able to perform and supervise intravenous infusion.
Experience in family/internal medicine is required.Job DescriptionExamine, diagnose and treat patients of all ages for acute injuries, infections, and illnessesCounsels and educates patients and families about acute and chronic conditions, medical concerns, or health wellnessFormulates diagnostic and treatment plansPrescribes and administers medications, therapies, suturing and splintingOrders lab and imaging tests to determine and manage an immediate treatment plan and provides advice on follow upRefers appropriate tertiary care to specialists or care facilitiesCompletes all documentation and paperwork in a timely manner within the electronic medical recordSupervising assigned midlevel providers and nurses, will be responsible for reviewing quality of care and signing off on midlevel provider's and nurse's patient chartsProvide excellent patient care and customer serviceJob RequirementsMust have valid Texas Medical LicenseMust have DPS LicenseFederal DEACurrent Driver's LicenseBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal MedicineComfortable at providing on-site intravenous infusion therapy5 years post-residency experience ideal; urgent care and outpatient clinic experience preferredCertified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)Bi-lingual English/Spanish is preferredAuthorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employerSuccessful candidate must submit to TB testing and vaccinations required by company policyJob Location/HoursWe are located in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. This is a professional environment working with a fast paced continuously growing team. The job will be Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Work hours may be subject to change, depending on surgery schedule.
