Our client in Pennsylvania seeks an accomplished Interventional Cardiologist for a 16-day locum tenens assignment. This dynamic role primarily involves 24-hour call coverage, encompassing STEMI call duties, along with supported rounding responsibilities and addressing urgent cardiac catheterization needs.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide 24-hour STEMI call coverage.
- Respond to urgent cardiac catheterization needs.
- Participate in day shift rounding, with APP support.
- Handle an inpatient service volume typically ranging from 15-20 patients daily, with occasional fluctuations into the higher 20s.
Additional Information
- Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology is required.
- The EMR system utilized is Epic.
- This is primarily an inpatient setting.
- Call schedule involves 24-hour shifts, specifically for STEMI call and urgent cath needs; non-invasive call on weekends is covered.
- Patient volume typically ranges from 15 to 20 per day on inpatient service, with potential for higher fluctuation.
- Day shift rounding includes APP support.
