Physician - Internal Medicine

Marshfield Medical Center - Park Falls is seeking a BC/BE Internal Medicine physician to join their well-established rural health center in Park Falls, Wisconsin. This traditional practice provides both outpatient and inpatient care within a collegial and supportive care team environment. Practice Info

• National Health Service Corps (NHSC) approved site
• Join a collegial group of 2 other physicians and 4 APPs
• Work closely with all departments and a well-supportive care team, including RNs who are wound care trained
• Multiple specialty providers frequently rotate onsite
• Clinic, dental center, and critical access hospital (10 beds) are located on the same campus

Responsibilities

• Provide traditional outpatient and inpatient care
• Lead a community health project (Option B)
• Be involved in medical education and research

Shift & Schedule

• Call is a 1:3 rotation for the hospital
• Nurse line is 1st call for outpatient (Phone call only)
• Excellent work-life balance with support for job sharing
• 4-day work week flexibility
• Option A: Full Time Clinical Role
• Option B: Full Time Clinical (80%) and Community Project Engagement (20%)
• 20% protected time for three years for a physician to lead a community health project
