Primary Care Physician – Eureka, California
Open Door Community Health Centers is seeking a Primary Care Physician to join our integrated care team at Eureka Community Health Center.
Responsibilities
- The Primary Care Physician provides comprehensive, patient-centered outpatient care for a panel of patients across the lifespan in a rural Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) setting.
- Practicing to the full extent of their training and scope, the physician diagnoses, treats, and manages acute and chronic medical conditions, emphasizes preventive care, and coordinates specialty services when needed.
- Working as part of an interdisciplinary care team, the physician plays a critical role in improving access to high-quality healthcare for an underserved rural community, helping patients receive timely, comprehensive care close to home and reducing the need to travel outside the region for essential medical services.
Qualifications
- Successful completion of accredited medical school (MD Degree Required).
- Completion of accredited Internal or Family Medicine Residency Program required.
- Current, unrestricted California physician and surgeon license.
- Current DEA registration.
- Current Board Certification in specialty of practice (or board eligible if a newer graduate).
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Valid California driver's license with an insurable driving record.

Compensation
Compensation: $234,635.20 to $267,624.00
