Description:Position is available due to expansion in the hospital medicine program.Candidates should be available for on-site call coverage.No call volume or callback is involved.Candidates will be expected to round on 20-24 patients per day.The hospital has a total of 100 beds with a daily census of about 50 patients.Expect approximately 12 admissions daily.The patient population is community-based without trauma cases.Support staff including nursing, case management, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, and laboratory is available.Open ICU allows for opportunities to perform procedures.Follow-up cases will be managed with community providers.Grand rounds will not be conducted.Candidates with the ability to perform procedures and manage vents are preferred but not required.Experience and competency in internal medicine cases is essential.
