Description:Outpatient clinic schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.The workweek consists of 36 hours of patient care and ambulatory clinic coverage.There is a 30-minute administrative time and a one-hour lunch break included in the schedule.Client call coverage follows a rotation every 4th or 5th week, with one full week at a time.Expected hospital visits include weekdays for new consults and weekends for rounding and emergent consults.The patient mix is primarily 70% oncology and 30% hematology, focusing on benign cases.The practice model primarily emphasizes outpatient care.An on-call provider manages new consults at the hospital.Nurse practitioners are responsible for rounding on existing patients.New consults are assigned to the on-call provider after evaluation.Patient encounters per shift range from 15 to 18.The facility operates with a trauma level of 3.
