Medical Oncologist

Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center in Jacksonville, Florida is actively seeking an experienced Medical Oncologist to join our growing faculty in Cancer Medicine at our South Campus.

Location: Baptist Medical Center South Campus (South – MOB I – 14546), Jacksonville, FL.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient‑centered multidisciplinary cancer care and manage patients with hematological and oncological diagnoses.
• Establish and maintain an active clinical practice.
• Support the clinical, research, and educational missions of the program.
• Engage in sub‑specialization of certain malignancies, clinical research, and stewardship activities aligned with the mission.

Qualifications

• Board‑eligible or board‑certified in Oncology (or Hematology/Oncology) with a record of clinical and academic achievement.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient‑centered multidisciplinary cancer care.
• Unrestricted Florida Medical License.
• DEA License.
• Recent graduates and early‑career physicians encouraged to apply.
• Qualified candidates recommended for an adjunct academic appointment at the University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, commensurate with accomplishments.
