A respected healthcare organization near Champaign, Illinois is seeking a BE/BC Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine Physician to join an established post-acute care team focused on delivering high-quality care to residents in skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, and memory care settings.Position Highlights:Full-time opportunity with flexible consideration for part-time schedulesMonday-Friday schedule, 8:00 AM-5:00 PMPrimarily focused on skilled nursing facility rounding and geriatric patient careJoin a collaborative team of four geriatricians, seven advanced practice providers, and dedicated nursing staffManage patient care across post-acute care, long-term care, assisted living, and memory care environmentsWork closely with APPs to address patient needs and coordinate care plansHospital-based experience is not requiredFamily Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians with strong geriatrics experience, as well as fellowship-trained Geriatricians, are encouraged to applyServe as a physician resource for APPs through a rotating backup call schedule shared among the geriatric physician teamUtilize an integrated electronic medical record system shared with area hospitalsOptional opportunity for additional income through urgent care coverageAcademic and teaching opportunities available with a regional medical education programQualifications:MD or DO degree from an accredited medical schoolBoard Certified or Board Eligible in:Family MedicineInternal MedicineGeriatric MedicineExperience caring for older adults preferredEligible for Illinois medical licensureCompensation & Benefits:Compensation: $310K-$315KComprehensive health, dental, and life insuranceRetirement plan with employer matchLong-term disability coverageRelocation assistanceCME allowancePaid malpractice insurance with tail coverageNot-for-profit organization eligible for Public Service Loan ForgivenessLocation & Lifestyle:Located near Champaign, Illinois, this region offers a unique combination of vibrant community life, affordability, and access to major Midwest destinations.
