Physician – General Radiation Oncologist

West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Radiation Oncology Department seeks a Radiation Oncologist(ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, orProfessor). The successful candidate will be expected to practicein Morgantown, WV.

Duties

The successful candidate will practice in the areasof Radiation/Oncology. In addition to providing excellentpatient care, the successful candidate will also be activelyinvolved in teaching medical students, residents, andfellows.

Qualifications

Candidate must have an MD or DO degree orforeign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license.Successful candidate must have completed Radiation Oncology residency program. Successful candidates must be board certified /eligible in Radiation Oncology . All qualifications must bemet by the time of appointment.

The WVU Cancer Institute is West Virginia’s premier cancertreatment center. Multidisciplinary medical teams use the latestcancer therapies to deliver the best possible treatment to patientsin West Virginia and adjacent border states. We have a very activeclinical trials program, pharmaceutical studies, and emergingstatewide clinical trials network.
