Physician – General Hematology/Oncology – Wheeling Hospital

West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Medical Oncology seek a Hematologist/Oncologist (MD or DO ) qualified for appointment at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor rank. The successful candidate will practice in Wheeling, West Virginia. Depending on operational needs, the candidate may also be assigned to provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania; travel would be anticipated and expected to fulfill duties at these additional sites.

Duties

Practice in the areas of Hematology/Oncology. In addition to providing excellent patient care, the candidate will actively teach medical students, residents, and fellows.

Qualifications

• Degree (MD or DO) or foreign equivalent and eligibility for state medical license.
• Completion of Internal Medicine residency program and Hematology/Oncology fellowship program.
• Board certified or eligible in Hematology/Oncology.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
