General Cardiologist – Central North Carolina

FirstHealth of the Carolinas is seeking a compassionate General Cardiologist to join an experienced cardiac team at Moore Regional Hospital in Rockingham, NC. The position is hospital–employed and is within a private, not‑for‑profit health care network that serves 15 counties in the mid‑Carolinas.

Position Highlights

• Part of a regional team of 13 Cardiologists and 9 Cardiology Advanced Practice Providers.
• Work at a 99‑bed hospital campus with a dependable schedule and a 1:5 shared inpatient call.
• Focus on delivering high‑quality patient care while the operational details of the practice are managed by the team.

Qualifications

• Completion of an ACGME‑ or AOA‑approved residency and fellowship in cardiovascular disease with board certification or eligibility.
• Clean background check and licensed or eligible for unrestricted licensure in North Carolina.
• Current DEA and AHA ACLS certification.
