Physician - Gastroenterology

Overview

Job Description: We are looking for a healthcare professional to work in the Douglasville and Hiram Medical Offices.

Schedule

• Work Monday to Friday
• Share on-call duties with one in every three weeks

Patient Care

You will see about 15-18 patients each day.

Services and Procedures You Will Perform

• Colonoscopy (exam of the colon)
• EGD (exam of the upper stomach)
• ERCP (special imaging for bile ducts)
• EUS (ultrasound of the digestive system)
• Enteroscopy (exam of small intestine)
• Hemorrhoid Banding
• Flexible Sigmoidoscopy
• Infusion services
• Telehealth appointments
• Nutrition Counseling
• TIF (procedure for heartburn)
• Video Capsule Endoscopy

• We will consider people who were previously Board Certified and need to re-certify (case by case).
• We welcome new graduates until 2025.

Qualifications

• You need to be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine
• THIS IS REQUIRED.
• You need to be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology
• THIS IS REQUIRED.
• You need to have a Georgia medical license (or be willing to get one)

Preferred

• A clean record with no malpractice issues is preferred.
• You must have a DEA license before starting
• no exceptions.
