We are seeking a skilled Gastroenterologist for a 90-day assignment in Oregon, starting Feb 1, 2027. The successful physician will work standard 5-day, 8-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, providing comprehensive gastroenterology services including diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopies, colonoscopies, ERCP, and EUS procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform general procedures including Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD), Capsule Endoscopy - ordering and reading/interpreting results, Colonoscopy, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, and Esophageal manometry - ordering and reading/interpreting results.
- Conduct therapeutic procedures such as Polypectomy, Biopsy, Endoscopic hemostasis, Stricture dilation, Foreign body removal, and Argon Plasma Coagulation (APC).
- Execute hospital and advanced procedures including Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy (PEG) - placement and outpatient replacement, Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) - sampling, stent placement, stone extraction, and dilation, Chol angioscopy, Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) - with interventions, and Bravo pH studies.
