This well-established women's healthcare medical group in California is seeking to expand their team of dedicated obstetrics professionals. The facility operates within a supportive Level 2 NICU hospital environment and utilizes advanced EPIC electronic medical records, fostering a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Physician - Hospitalist - OB
Job Details:

• Direct-hire opportunity to provide expert inpatient obstetrical care in a busy hospital with a Level 2 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
• Care for approximately 13-14 patients daily across inpatient, outpatient, rounds, and clinic settings
• Average of 4-5 deliveries per 24-hour period, with the majority being vaginal deliveries and approximately 25% C-sections
• Must have current delivery experience
• Schedule consists of five to six 24-hour shifts per month, running from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM the following morning
• Weekend shifts are required and follow the same 24-hour schedule as weekdays
• No on-call responsibilities associated with this position
• Holiday coverage includes a holiday pay premium
• Electronic medical records managed through EPIC
• Must be Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active BLS, ACLS, and DEA certifications required prior to start
• Must hold an active California medical license or have an active application in progress prior to starting
• COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory per facility requirements
• Preferred candidates will have 1-5 years of relevant practice experience
• Open to candidates requiring visa sponsorship, including H1B and J1 visas
• New graduates, truly board-eligible candidates not yet certified, and candidates with lapsed board certification are not eligible
• Candidates with a history of malpractice or licensing issues may be considered on an individual basis
• Candidates must be willing to commute within 30 minutes and cannot combine this position with another job
