Our client in NC is actively seeking a Family Practice Physician for a 120‑day assignment starting Aug 3, 2026. This is a unique teaching position, requiring dedication to overseeing and precepting 1st through 3rd year residents and medical students during 8a‑5p shifts. You will also be responsible for attending faculty meetings, completing monthly resident evaluations, and providing comprehensive Family Medicine care for a diverse range of patient conditions.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Oversee and work with residents while precepting patients, typically 6-8 residents per day.
- Engage in significant teaching with 1st through 3rd year residents within an outpatient residency clinic setting.
- Attend weekly faculty meetings via Webex to discuss resident and clinic concerns.
- Complete monthly evaluations on residents to critique medical knowledge and professionalism.
- Precept and teach medical students rotating at the site.
- Provide comprehensive Family Medicine care for a range of cases including hypertension, diabetes, heart failure, colds, flu, physicals, scratches, sprains, chronic issues, and check‑ups.
